Last Saturday, the 1st Annual Y.M.C.A. Cricket Ball took place in the Radisson SAS Hotel on Golden Lane, Dublin.
A great turn out of 160 members and guests turned out in their best 'gladrags' and were treated to a delicious meal, lots of wine, fab band, a raffle and entertaining speeches from Captain 'Wazza' and Presidente 'Ridge'.

A special presentation was made to Aideen Rice on her huge contribution to the kidz cricket in YMCA.
And a Ricky Ponting signed cricket bat (no not one of Ed Sports specials) sent especially from Oz went under the hammer in an impromptu auction conducted by Lewy. 
 
Overall an excellent night was had by all, although early reports suggest that Smacker lost his mobile phone in a Kebab Shop (did he not eat at the ball!) and Stu Dog lost his Dinner Jacket. Nothing new there then!

But this did not damper the excellent efforts of both Mr. & Mrs. Warwick Armstrong who put together this GREAT night!
