Y.M.C.A. Cricket Club Won by 52 runs

Match report Jack Tector’s unbeaten 136 propelled YMCA to a 52-run win over North County at Claremont Road. Tector hit 16 fours and a six as he carried his bat, facing 141 balls as YM posted 279 for 3.
He shared an opening stand of 71 with Oliver Gunning (30), and a second wicket partnership of 109 with Simi Singh – who hit 4 sixes and 3 fours in his 66 from 63 balls.
Harry Tector (12) fell cheaply, but Jack dominated an unbroken 4th wicket stand of 66 with Sam Murphy (14*).
Eddie Richardson was a welcome returnee to the County ranks after his recent illness, but only managed two overs – Adam Coughlan (2-34) the pick of the Balrothery attack.
County gave the chase a good lash with six of the top seven getting starts, but none was able to play the major innings required to get really close. Tomas Sheil (45), Jonno Andrews (33), Niall McGovern (30), Andrew Sheridan (30), Malcolm Nofal (27) and Eddie Richardson (26) as County made 227.
Jarred Barnes continues to impress in his debut Leinster season taking 4 for 29, with Simi Singh (3-39), and Aviral Shukla (2-43) also getting in the wickets column.
