YMCA 1st XI travel to North Down CC to take part in a T20 Tournament sponsored by O'Neills, at Comber over the weekend, Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th of April.
North Down CC will host YMCA CC, Cork County CC & Donemana CC in a series of T20 games which will be concluded with a Final between the top 2 teams.
Saturday, 13th April:
North Down v Donemana – 11 a.m. on Pitch 1
YMCA v Cork County – 12 noon on Pitch 2
Donemana v Cork County – 3 p.m. on Pitch 2
North Down v YMCA – 3 p.m. on Pitch 1
Sunday, 14th April:
North Down v Cork County – 11 a.m. on Pitch 2
YMCA v Donemana – 11 a.m. on Pitch 1
Final – 3 p.m. on Pitch 1
The YM team Captained by Albert Van der Merwe includes new recruit Jeremy Bray and two stalwarts of Claremont Road, D.A.Lewis & A.R.Dunlop. Also in the team are youngsters Jack Tector, fresh from a few months playing cricket in South Africa and Aaron Bailey, another from that Bailey Family Dynasty at YM.
Simi Singh was unavailable for selection due to a slight injury.
