YM 3rds had their most comprehensive win of the season as they won handsomely at Claremont Road, on Saturday 5th of September, beating Halverstown 1st XI by 10 wkts.

Halverstown batted first and all the YM bowlers got amongst the wickets as they dismissed the visitors for only 114 in the 40th over.
2 wickets apiece for Padraic Flanagan, Rory Anderson, Alistair Greene and David Cooke. Tim Shannon recorded figures of 8-4-6-1.

In reply YM were never troubled as openers Ryan Bailey 33* and Tim Shannon 67* (9x4s, 1x6) put on 115 to take the home side to victory in the 26th over.
A great finish to the season.
