Amandeep Singh is a cousin of Sonny & Puneet. A hard hitting batsman and a more than useful medium bowler.
Was a very valuable player for the 3rds this season (2008) scoring crucial runs at times. But it was his bowling which was a revelation. Top wicket-taker with 23 wkts at an average of 10.65 with an economy rate of 2.78. Returned fantastic figures of 8/12 against Phoenix.
Should be pushing hard for a place in the 2nd team next season.
