YM Cats is a first introduction to Cricket for 5-8 year olds (Junior Infants - 2nd Class Primary School). Using lightweight plastic equipment, the sessions include organised games and play to introduce the Cats to Cricket Skills in a fun environment.

For 2018, there will be two, 10 week YM Cats programs, each running on Friday evenings between 5.45pm and 7.00pm. The early season program runs from 13 April to 15 June, whilst the second runs from 22 June to 24 August. Each program costs €100 (2nd Child €85) for the 10 weeks.

Under a recent announcement by Cricket Leinster, this year, a Junior Programme is being launched for younger cricketers and YMCA hope to participate. The plans are to have Soft Ball Games for Junior & senior Infants and Centralised Local "Blitz" events for 1st & 2nd Class students. More details to follow when we have them!

We encourage you to give it a go, please feel free to bring your child down to Claremont Road and join in for a session without obligation.
