The David Cooke Bowling Cup...

Paddy J.Flanagan has been named as the 1st recipient of the new David J.Cooke Bowling Cup.

'Cookie' is a stalwart of Claremont Road and has been playing senior cricket since 1978, archives show he has topped over 1000 wickets for various YM senior teams and currently still cleans up for YM 4ths.

Paddy or 'Flanners' to his growing number of admirers had a very productive 2013, proving to be the spearhead of the all-conquering 3rd XI and making the 2nd XI opening spot his own. He played the final 1st XI match of the season versus Pembroke.
