The draws for the 2009 Leinster Senior Cricket League and Cup competitions have just been released.

Both the 1st & 2nd XI (returning to compete in the Senior 2 Cup) have been given home draws in their respective Cups.

DGM 45 Overs League; Section 1- Merrion, Rush, Clontarf, Railway Union; Section 2- Pembroke, The Hills, Malahide, Munster Reds; Section 3 - Old Belvedere, North County (Holders), Phoenix, YMCA; Section 4 - CYM, Dublin Univ., Leinster.

LH Twenty/20 Alan Murray Cup; Group 1 - Phoenix, North County, Rush, Old Belvedere; Group 2 - Malahide, The Hills, Clontarf; Group 3 - Railway Union, Dublin Univ. Merrion, Pembroke (Holders ); Group 4 - CYM, Leinster, YMCA.

I can just picture it now...the trophy cabinet is full, the champagne is overflowing...Wazza has got his hands on...it looks like one trophy, could be 2! and the 2nds, it's 17 years since our last victory...well its about time that changed, isn't it?
