Players
Rory R. Anderson Member profile Rory R. Anderson
RHB, RAM;

Rory attended St.Andrew's College in Booterstown and has been one of the success stories of the YMCA youth development programme. Winner of the Barclay Walker Award in 2007.
A steady opening bowler who bowls in that 'corridor of uncertainty' he will only get better and better. His batting has improved and he became the regular opening bowler for the 3rds in 2011. Once he gets stronger he can kick on and aim for a 1st team spot in the near future. Currently studying in Wales.
Ryan K. Bailey Member profile Ryan K. Bailey
RHB, RAM;

Ryan had a fantastic season with the bat in 2011. The top run scorer in the club with 673 runs @ 42.06, including 1 century and 4 x 50s.
Won the Barclay Walker Award for his efforts.
Also took 17 wkts @ 19.53 and. Can become a genuine all-rounder with a lot of 'hard yakka'. Big season ahead in 2012...
Callum P. Donnelly Member profile Callum P. Donnelly
LHB, LAM;

Callum had a disappointing season in 2011 after his successes in 2010, however he played a big part in the 3rds promotion and still U17 can go onto bigger and better things. Must aim high for the 2012 season. Has represented Leinster at U15 & U17 level.
Winner of the Barclay Walker Award in 2010.
Padraig J. Flanagan Member profile Padraig J. Flanagan
RHB, RAM

Padraic or 'Paddy' to his friends is a young lean fast bowling machine, who has played a big part in the double promotion 3rd XI over the past 2 years.
Represented Ireland & Leinster at U15 level and is a past winner of the 'Young Leinster Fast Bowler of the Year'.
Most unusual fact: Has an Australian father who doesn't play cricket!!
Ryan G. Hohn Member profile Ryan G. Hohn
RHB, WK;

Ryan was another member of the successful 3rd XI, in what was definitely a team effort. Showed glimpses of his potential with vital contributions with the bat and in the field where his fielding was as good as anyone in the club. Safe pair of hands and can keep when needed.
Kamal Merchant Member profile Kamal Merchant
RHB, RAM;

Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Kamal is in his second stint with the YMers.
Played almost 100 first class games for Karachi Whites, United Bank Ltd, Karachi Blues and Faisalabad, where he averaged 27.10 with the bat and an impressive 23.80 with the ball in his hand. His one day bowling average is even better at 20.94.
Having previously appeared as the club professional during the late 1990s he is now back as 'Head of Youth Coaching', while turning out for the 3rd XI as their mentor.
Also currently coaches and umpires 1st class cricket matches in his native Pakistan.
Andrew T.G. Mowatt Member profile Andrew T.G. Mowatt
RHB;

Andrew is a natural stroke-maker and has lots of potential. Spent the early part of 2011 playing cricket in South Africa as part of a school transfer. Did not play as much cricket as hoped for in the summer of 2011 but on his day can make a real difference. Has represented Leinster at U15 level.
James P. Smith Member profile James P. Smith
RHB, RAM;

'JimJam' was a vastly improved bowler in 2011. Although he did not take stacks of wkts he showed much better control in line & length. Tall, leaner, due to being fitter, he is the perfect new ball bowler. Big season ahead of him in 2012. Has represented Leinster at youth level.
Jack B. Tector Member profile Jack B. Tector
RHB, OB;

Jack is the oldest of 3 Tector brothers all with great talent, inherited to them by their mother. Scored over 400 runs and took 24 wkts in 2011 playing mainly 3rds & 2nds. Also made his debut for the 1st XI and has represented Leinster & Ireland at U15 level. A natural cricketer and genuine all rounder.
Josh D. Van Der Flier Member profile Josh D. Van Der Flier
RHB, RAM;

Josh, younger brother of Johan also attends Wesley College. Josh is a genuine all-rounder. Bowls a great line and length, gutsy batsmen and athletic fielder. Definitely one to watch and can be a top senior cricketer if he wants to be. Also a talented rugby player.
