Isobel Joyce top scored with a rapid unbeaten 83 from just 54 balls, hitting 12 fours as Merrion scored 175 for 1.
She shared an opening stand of 86 with Tilly Lugg who hit 7 fours in her 47, and then added an unbroken 89 for the second wicket with twin sister Cecelia (31*).
Robyn Lewis (1-25) was the only bowler to escape punishment.

Gaby Lewis thumped 6 fours and a six in a quickfire 43 from 22 balls, while her sister Robyn chipped in with 22 as YMCA finished on 114, losing by 61 runs.
Julianne Morrissey, sister of Joe and Simon Morrissey, took 4 wickets for just 15 runs, taking three in her last over.
After dismissing the dangerous Robyn Lewis who was well caught on the boundary by Cecelia Joyce, she bowled out the tail in the space of five balls.
Celeste Raack (2-22) and Rachel Delaney (2-35) were also among the wickets.

"It was nice to have a bit of a break last week and come back to club cricket fresh last night.," said Isobel Joyce afterwards.
"Scores are getting bigger this year so we knew with the batting lineup YM has that we had to set a big target and I think we ran and hit well towards the end of the innings. It was a pleasing team performance and will give us confidence for the rest of the season."
