YM can't win any longer...

Another day another loss, Pembroke strode into Claremont Road and the young bucks easily accounted for the home team to win by 5 wickets.
After the early loss of Graeme McCoy, Ben Dunk with another classy knock of 75 (11x4s/1x6) & Simon Wilson-Moore 31 (2x4s/1x6) shared a 2nd wkt partnership of 88. When seemingly set and doing all the hard work Simon got out and after another promising little partnership of 35 between Ben and Shami...a run out again, this time robbing the team of their top run-scorer.
123/3 soon became 178 all out and the last 7 wickets yielded a paltry 55 runs. Application, concentration, hunger to succeed and dare I say desire were all found wanting and Pembroke left the field midly pleased.
In reply the visitors started confidently but lost 2 wickets to Shami who bowled well but Cooke, O'Rourke and to a greater extent McDonnell settled down and with partnerships of 41 (4th wkt) and 67 (5th wkt) took the game away from YM to win by 5 wickets and plenty.
No real penetration from the YM bowlers. Shami bowled well, so too did Umar who should have bowled his full allocation of overs. The under-used Johhny Harte was not given much time to make an impact.
Just a thoroughly disappointing performance really.
Time for changes, maybe, the time is right as luckily there is no relegation...
