The Daily Telegraph's Cricket correspondent turned up late and unfortunately missed the match, so reports are sketchy.
YM batted first and lost 2 wickets in the first over of the day. Jonathan Harte battled bravely at the top of the order but this did not rub off with the rest of his teamates, bar Paul Beacroft as the hosts were skittled out for 74.
Railway reached their target all too easily although Umar Jehangir did pick up his first senior wicket for the club.
Tea was taken.
