Match report Another Tector hits the Headlines...

In a game which saw almost 500 runs scored, a Century, 2 x 50s and a 5 wkt haul, there was only really one highlight, one Champagne moment in fact a Champagne Supernova...'that catch !'

Just after the drinks break amid the sunshine of the Inch, YMCA were forced to call on a Sub fielder, H.R.Tector (Father) replacing H.T.Tector (Son).

Cat Stevens couldn't have written it any better as YM had to make a change, time to relax, take it easy, not a bit...as Harry Tector still young received an injury, not his fault and as he settled down on the sidelines, Heatley Tector strolled onto the pitch as his replacement looking old but happy...

The game was in the balance, but S.Mooney brother of the No.1 scorer in Leinster Cricket Andrew Mooney, seemed to be pushing North County towards victory, clearing the boundary with ease. But then a mis-hit, a top edge flew miles into the blue sky, towards extra cover...

There was no cry of 'mine', just silence, utter silence as the ball hurtled down towards the hands of 'The Legend' Heatley Tector. No one even had to time to draw breath as he pouched the ball with ease and simply put it in his pocket.

So simple really, UnbelievableJeff and the turning point of the game, the spoils to YM, North County unlucky, really unlucky and for one of the Mooneys the knowledge that this story will be told again and again and again...
