A left arm spinner with deadly accuracy, fine fielder and late order batsmen, who never really got the chance to shine with the bat.
Shay played over 90 matches for YM, taking almost 100 wickets at an average of approx. 25.00. His best return with the ball was 6/21 and his highlight with the bat was a 'nurdling' 51.

Neel hails from a cricket-mad family whose Irish cricket roots began back in the '70s with Phoenix C.C. when his Dad, Vic and Uncle Bill took to the grounds of Leinster & Ireland bringing their Indian talents of wristy batting and leg spin bowling to our shores.
Both were then followed by Anu Bhandari (Bill's son) and Neel who both starred in the ranks of Phoenix Junior and Senior teams.
While Anu was to enjoy success in the 1st team, Neel took route to Castle Avenue and played for Clontarf C.C. before he found his calling and arrived in Claremont Road.

2. Stuart R. S. McCready
Stuart McCready or 'Smacker' has been a top all-rounder in Leinster and Irish cricket for almost the last 15 years. A prolific schoolboy at all levels, he took to Senior cricket with ease. Developing his cricket at YM he took the short trip down the road to Pembroke C.C. where his all-round abilities were pivotal to the 'brokes successes.
However he realised the errors of his ways and returned to Claremont Road where he just got better and better. In a career which has seen him score over 6,000 runs and take over 400 wkts, he has been very unfortunate not to experience a full international cap.
Top cricketer, top bloke and now helping YMs Super 2nds.
