We hope everyone has enjoyed the 2018 Cricket season, it has been an excellent one for us with all aspects of the Club doing well on and off the field of play.
To recognise many of the achievements of our members, both young and old, we will be hosting our Annual Awards Night at 7.30pm on Friday 12th October in Wanderers FC, Merrion Road. Numbers are limited to 140 so please reserve your place as soon as possible.
It’s a busy night with lots of awards to get through, but very much a social night for everyone to get together once again now that the main playing season has come to an end. The awards cover all aspects of the club’s activities including…
- the Kamal Merchant Cup for batting,
- the Cooke Cup for bowling,
- the Barclay Walker Cup,
- the Claremont Cup for Ladies
- Player’s player of the Year for the Senior Men’s and Ladies teams
- Coaches Awards for our CATS and Youths – Boys and Girls
- Individual achievement awards for
- Centurions
- Bowling performance
- Irish Cap
- First provincial caps; and
- our Club Person and Junior Club Person of the Year awards.
Additionally, both our Junior Boys and Girls sides won their respective leagues this summer and medals will be presented to these sides on the night.
