The draw has been made for the quarter-final of the Leinster Senior Cup and has thrown up some intriguing ties.

Phoenix, who last won the trophy back in 1982, have home advantage over Pembroke, whose last triumph came in 1999.

The winners of the postponed Balbriggan versus Merrion clash will start favourites against a Terenure side currently languishing at the bottom of Division Two.

That rescheduled match is down for decision this Sunday, June 10th.

2010 winners Railway Union host North County, whose only triumph came in 2003, although they have subsequently reached the final on four occasions.

County knocked out holders The Hills in the first round.

The undoubted cup kings of recent times Clontarf - they have won the trophy eight times since the turn of the century, entertain YMCA, whose most recent win in the competition came in 2016.

The ties are due to be played on Sunday June 24.
