Ben Robert Dunk was born in Innisfail, Queensland, Australia and made his YM debut in 2008 versus Eglinton in the Bob Kerr Irish Senior Cup, going onto top the 1st XI batting averages with 433 runs at an average of 48.11.
Also played for Trinity (D.U.C.C.) in the early part of that season and had a brief run out for C.Y.M. in 2007 before he came to his senses.
Ben was rewarded with a Rookie contract with the XXXX Gold Queensland Bulls in 2009.
He currently stars for Sydney Thunder in the KFC T20 Big Bash League, Queensland Bulls and plays Grade 1 with Parramatta District CC in Sydney.
