Born in the cricketing hotbed of Donegal, Miriam has been a member of YMCA for 27 years, starting her career as a player for Claremont Ladies, she then went onto play 80 times for Ireland and was captain in 35 matches.
In a glittering career she has won everything within the game and is the 2nd most capped player (to date) and quite easily the best all-rounder Ireland has ever had.
Scoring 1428 runs (1x100, 5x50s) and taken 38 wickets.
Miriam appeared in 4 Women's World Cups (Eng 1993/ India 1997-98/ NZ 2000-01/ SA 2004-05)
